It is an immense pleasure to extend my heartfelt thanks to all those people who incorporated the idea of establishing a commerce college in an area of Guwahati populated by multifarious linguistic and economic background. Established in 1992 and provincialized in 2021 this college is one of the three pure commerce colleges in Guwahati and since its inception the college has proved itself as a pioneer institute for commerce education offering Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program.

The distinctiveness of this college is such that along with usual degree courses students can opt for certificate courses in the college. These certificate courses are designed to give the students the idea of becoming self-sufficient, self-reliant and independent.
The college has sufficient well-equipped classrooms, Computer laboratory and a well-stocked library with online in-and-out management system.
One of the prime advatage of the college is that it is located in prime location in Maligaon area and it is near to Rail station and bus stoppage. The teaching fraternity includes both experienced and young teachers. The office staff of this college is student friendly and cooperative.
I am extremely hopeful that the way it is growing day by day, it will prove itself as one of the few prominent institutes in national level.
